Millions of travellers arrive in Las Vegas every year to gamble in what surely must be the gamble capital of the USA, if not the world.
If you are on a budget it is still possible to gamble in Las Vegas. Here are a few tips for gambling on a budget in Las Vegas:
Make sure you have your discount coupons all organised in the exact order in which you will come to them on the Las Vegas strip and downtown.
First of all, organise your coupons in the order of their value with the highest discount at the top of the bundle and then put these coupons together in
the exact order of how these casinos will appear as you travel down the Las Vegas strip.
Make sure you have an up to the minute Las Vegas map to help you sort out your priorities. Be sure to prioritise casino coupons where you invest
less money with each bet and get a higher rate of return.
At the beginning of each day decide exactly how much you can afford to gamble. Don’t go over your limit and don’t go into debt EVER to pay for your
gambling.
Organise your coupons for free slot pulls, drinks and other freebies like snacks and two for one meals that you can use at the casinos.
Go to the first casino on your list, play the coupons, pocket all your profits and then visit the next casino on your list. If you are staying in one casino
for a while and your coupon says ‘valid for one person per visit’ then make sure you move around the tables to use your coupons so that you don’t
stand the chance of handing your coupon to the same staff member each time.
Experts say the best odds for a win are with blackjack and craps. This means that if you have discount casino coupons to play at any of these tables
your losses should be as low as possible.
Should you be lucky enough to win a Las Vegas jackpot then there are a few words of caution that you should always bear in mind. Jackpot winners
are likely to draw a lot of attention to themselves and that attention is not always with good intentions. So always ask that any large winnings be in the
form of a check and then mail your check to your bank or to your home in an envelope and stamp that you have bought in the same casino. That way
you never leave the casino with any cash winnings.
If for some reason you are paid in an amount of cash, have a casino staff members escort you to your hotel room or bank or to the nearest place
where a cashier’s check can be made out to yourself.

What are the best Christmas party games? This is difficult to answer because, one particular party game seen as fun in the eyes of some folk – may not be seen that way by others. Because of this we find ourselves in a catch 22 situation. So what do you do? Do you invite the people over for Christmas you know will like your selection of party games, or, those you prefer the company of, but won`t like your games. Do you dismiss the idea of having any Christmas party games at all? Not on your Nellie, come on this is the season of goodwill; it is a time for festive fun and cheer. Whatever games you play should make no difference, however if they do, then for the guests that refuse to jolly should be politely asked to leave. This may sound harsh but we cannot have one person or two at a push, spoiling your Christmas day.

Christmas is a time for happy gatherings, and if any kiljoy`s sit round the Christmas dinner table, or in front of an open log fire to play games, then “no happy” gathering it will be. Best Christmas party games you will find are played at office Xmas parties, Children’s Christmas Parties, and at family celebrations, and why? Because they add fun and spread the Christmas spirit! Now let the fun begin with the dreaded word game.

This game has you give each guest on arrival a small token. Now announce to all a Christmas theme word. Tell all they are not to utter this word at all during the Christmas occasion you celebrate. Words like “tree” or “holly” are fine examples. If a guest overhears another guest utter this specific word at any time they take that person`s token. The guest with the most tokens at the specific designated time of ending the game wins a special gift!

Christmas Talent Contest!

If possible for this particular game is to avoid volunteers, as more often than not they can sing and do not embarrass easy. We want fun right, and if at someone else’s expense then so be it (in a nice way). It’s more fun to hear voices like that of a wailing banshee, or watching the footwork of those who believe they have feet like Micheal Flatly. Let everyone showcase their talent by singing or dancing. Contest winner tags should “Best Singer” “Best Dancer” “Worst vocalist” “Most Unique” “Most Funny” This game guarantees the air to fill with laughter.

Remember Christmas celebrations should cater for all age groups so organize for the young and old. Best Christmas party games are the ones people can join in with.

Pass the Bows another popular Christmas game

Have your guest’s team up for this game. This game includes all participants of each side to hold hands while passing bows along a line. Hands must not unlock at any time while passing bows.
Divide the group into teams of 6 to 10 people and have the team’s line up side by side, either sitting or standing next to each other. At one end of the line place a number of Christmas bows while at the other a bowl/bucket for bows to be placed. Now prompt each player to hold the right wrist of the person to their right. You can use a Christmas cracker bang to start the game – both teams must now pass bows down to one end and place them in the bucket or bowl.

Note: If a bow is dropped, it can only be retrieved while still joined to the wrist of a team member, and if the chain breaks all the bows currently being passed must move back to the beginning of the line. (Either the front – initial starting point or the bucket / bowl – the half way point.) Not to worry if you have no bows, I am sure you can find other as a substitute

Christmas Memory Game

Gather together 10 to 20 small Christmas items and place on a tray. Examples: bows, Christmas stocking, bells, Christmas tinsel, Christmas lights, gift labels, candles, Christmas video, nutcracker, etc…

Set the tray down and allow players to study it. Then hide tray contents by covering with a cloth. Now give the players paper and a pencil and have them write down as many of the items as they can remember. The one with the most correct items written down wins. Why not fill the tray with treats, like cookies, cake, tubbed jellies or assorted types of candy. The winner of the game gets to take home the treats. This fun game becomes more serious for the participants purely because of this. Well wouldn`t you want to take home a bag of yummies.

Kick start the festive spirit by providing everyone with a Christmas hat. Not only will this add “moving color” to the room, it will have everyone excite themselves even more. Listen to the laughter as each person puts on their hat. Paper hats are inexpensive. Kill two birds with one stone and buy Christmas crackers which contain hats. If there are any lively games to be played make sure the charismas tree or lighted candles or any type of breakables are moved out of the way. There are games you can play before sitting down to feast, however normally folk are famished and just want to get stuck into the turkey, so consider playing the best Christmas games after everyone has eaten and had time to digest their food.

Nevertheless if you want to keep your guests occupied till dinner is served, play the “guess me” game. This will include long heavy socks. Place varied Christmas items in the socks. You might stuff the socks with a small ornament, roll of tape, a fir cone etc. Have each person feel the contents of the sock and write down their guesses. The winner gets, you guessed it, one of the socks! This is why this game is best played with two socks so they get a pair for the prize.

Remember that music is the most ideal aside from playing the best Christmas games to get everyone in the mood.

Keep music lively; avoid slow and somber sounds as this can dampen a person’s spirits, who at this particular time may have something to feel saddened over. Your quest is to help this person, “not to forget,” but to enjoy.

Slade’s ‘Merry Xmas Everybody’ has been voted the most loved Christmas song by the British public.

Other merry Christmas songs:

Mariah Carey – All I want for Christmas is you
Wham – Last Christmas
Wizzard – I wish it could be Christmas everyday

Let us not forget why we celebrate Christmas day December the 25th. While we give gifts and pleasure in our kids delight and cook dinner we often overlook “the reason for the season”, the birth of God’s son, Jesus Christ.

A Christmas Prayer by Robert Louis Stevenson that brings the lord back in sight and thought.

Loving Father, Help us remember the birth of Jesus that we may share in the song of the angels, the gladness of the shepherds, and worship of the wise men. Close the door of hate and open the door of love all over the world. Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting. Deliver us from evil by the blessing which Christ brings, and teach us to be merry with clear hearts. May the Christmas morning make us happy to be thy children, and Christmas evening bring us to our beds with grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus’ sake. Amen

Hello Everyone,

What a great day! Got all the doll faces painted and all the red doll clothes sewed. Jim, a novice elf, did a great job painting the little, red firetrucks. Hopefully the paint will be dry enough to add the fireman’s ladders to the truck in the morning. They will be so pretty when they’re all done. So you kids better be good!! Santa is watching all of you!

However, let me tell you what happened to me this afternoon. I had a surprise birthday party given by Mr. & Mrs. Claus and all the elves. Santa even let the reindeer attend for a while. The room was all decorated with red and green streamers and balloons. In the center of the room was a table piled with gifts. I got mittens, a scarf, earmuffs, boots, slippers, but my favorite present was from Mr. & Mrs. Claus ~ my very own ipod! And the food was delicious ~ chocolate cake and ice cream. But Mrs. Claus made us eat our peanut butter sandwiches first! It was a great party and the first one I ever had in my lifetime. Everyone had a good time and is anxiously waiting for another birthday party. The only problem is now I am a year older.

Well kids, that’s all for today We have to get to bed, as we’re all full of food and tired.

See you tomorrow!

Looking for unique ideas and gifts for the holiday season for your whole family? If you’re like me, your favorite accessory probably has fur, four legs and a tail. I adore my constant companion and she definitely gets treated like royalty. When shopping for the holidays, I get the most excited shopping for my dog. I know she likes the bones and treats, but this year I couldn’t resist trying a few new gifts on for size. If you’ve ever thought about accessorizing your four legged friend with the fabulous outfits and chic and unique pet apparel for the holidays, you’re in for a real treat. Festive holiday dog apparel is just one of the seasons hottest trends in fashion must haves. From dog dresses, dog sweaters and hoodies to t-shirts, pajamas and pretty dog collars for Fluffy, fashion is no longer just for the upright type.

Sure some people think this kind of behavior is frivolous and frown upon dressing up you pet like a little princess or donning your stout bulldog in a tough and gruff hoodie, but who cares what they think? There’s always the people that judge and critique and forget that life is meant to have a little fun. Some people express concerns about whether or not pets like being dressed up or not, who knows? Until we can speak the same language as the animal kingdom, we’ll never really know for sure if Batty likes posing and wearing Chanel, but one thing is certain is that a pet adored and paid attention to, is far happier than one neglected and abused. So what’s the harm in pampering our four legged friends?

Dressing up the pups has been around for ages, but it’s only been in recent years that it has grown in popularity. From celebrities carrying their precious chihuahuas, to people like William Wegman who makes a living by playing dress up with his weimaraners and taking funny, beautiful and unique photographs of his four legged models. Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, we’ve seen all the celebrities dress their pets to the nines and holiday apparel is no exception.

This season, whether you’re looking to pamper your pet with unique toys and dog beds or celebrate the season in style, you can find all sorts of festive holiday dog apparel at pretty affordable prices. One site, www.MichiPet.com even has the most adorable Mrs. Claus dress and Santa Paws outfit that would make anyone crack a smile. Imagine greeting your guests with your little Fido decking the halls in his very best Santa’s Little Helper Sweater. Another great idea would be to make your own holiday cards using your pet as the focal point. Nothing warms the heart better than animals do, and even better seeing one dressed in an adorable outfit brings a smile to us all.

So lighten the mood, spread the holiday cheer and be a little jolly with pet style and make this season one to remember for you and your guests, and I guarantee that treating your best friend has never been this much fun. You can find all sorts of holiday gifts for your pampered pet and even find chic and unique pet apparel for the holidays.

Hello Everyone,

We’re all tired here at the North Pole. The reindeer were scared by a small animal during the night. We stayed up most of the night trying to settle them down. They were really frightened, even Rudolph. And Mrs. Claus was so good to us ~ she brought us some goodies and hot chocolate every hour. It really tasted good!

We got some more dolls finished today. The dolls with the yellow dresses are all done and waiting to be delivered on Christmas Eve. They are so pretty that I hate to see them leave here. The Senior Elf started working on the firetrucks, mixing the paints so they can be painted a bright red. Another elf is making the ladders for the fire trucks.

It is still cool here at the North Pole, but there is very little snow, as yet. Don’t worry kids there’ll by plenty of snow before Christmas Eve. The reindeer didn’t do any exercises today, as they were tired out from staying up all night. Tomorrow they will do some exercises, as it is very important for them to be in good shape on Christmas Eve!

Don’t forget to be good boys and girls!! Santa is watching you!!

An elf that is working with Santa Claus at the North Pole. She tells us what is happening every day and how Santa is working so hard to bring toys to all good boys and girls. Personalized Letters from Santa

Hello everyone!

I am an elf, who works for Santa Claus. This has been a very busy day for all of us, as time is passing so quickly and we have so many toys to make and deliver on Christmas Eve. Today we were making dolls and dressing them in such pretty clothes! Tom, the Senior elf, painted a dolls faces and all the colors ran together, so he had to start all over. Another elf, Sue, dropped a can of paint on a carton of doll faces, so these had to be redone. Then the elves who were busy sewing the dolls dresses, had to stop working as the electricity went out for several hours. Even though we had all these drawbacks it was a very profitable day and I know there will be plenty of dolls for all the GOOD LITTLE GIRLS!!

The weather is starting to turn cold here at the North Pole. We had to start wearing our winter clothes. Santa started the reindeer on an exercise program so they’ll be in good shape for their trip on Christmas eve. Rudolph didn’t like to do the exercises, but he finally agreed to it.

Well, folks, that’s all for today. Tune in tomorrow for the latest news from Santa and the North Pole.

BE GOOD BOYS AND GIRLS!! SANTA IS WATCHING!!!!

This is my daily blog, the elf who works for Santa Claus. Each year many people decide that just the every day cat or dog isn’t the pet for them. There are many different types of exotic pets available that there really is a pet that goes well with almost every type of personality.

However, adopting an exotic pet can be kind of frustrating, too. Read these tips to help you decide which kind of pet you want.

Before going forward with your exotic pet adoption, give yourself time. We have all walked into a pet store and have wanted to take home a cute cuddly pet on an impulse.

A few days later you discovered that you weren’t really ready to take care of this new pet and you find that the pet store will probably not take it back. Instead of buying on an impulse, go home, clear your head and think about it for a few days.

Find out what kind of supplies you will need, what kind of food, home, and health items you will need for your exotic pet. Also, find out the cost not only for the pet but how much the supplies will cost you as well. You need to fully understand how much money you will be spending.

Try to find out what their natural character traits are. Do they make a lot of noise that may keep you up at night?

Find out if the exotic pet you want needs loads of attention, or prefers to be alone. Is there a special type of food that you will have to provide? Do your research.

After doing all this you will be able to make a responsible and educated decision for your exotic pet adoption. Once you have decided that you really want the pet, go get ‘em tiger!

by Vivian Gilbert Zabel

When my daughter, my first-born, was six weeks old, we brought home a German shepherd puppy, Pepper. The puppy was black trimmed in silver, and she and my baby fell in love with each other immediately. As they grew up together, they became closer friends. However, we closely supervised them together for the first two years. Time after time, Pepper proved that she wouldn’t hurt “her” girl, and we trained our daughter not to harm the dog even accidentally.

Anytime babies, or children, and animals are put together, care must be taken that neither hurts the other. Both need to be trained to treat each other with respect and care. When the baby or child are in contact with the pet, they should be supervised.

Another point to keep in mind when mixing babies or children with pets is to separate them when either or both are hungry or tired. If a child or an animal is irritated, hungry, or tired, tempers and inappropriate actions are more possible and likely.

Babies and pets can be good companions for many years, if they are trained to be protective of each other. Good manners is a must on the part of each.

Pepper and my daughter took naps together. Pepper would let me know when her girl was in trouble, whether threatened by a rattle snake that found its way into the yard or my daughter’s try to escape the yard by climbing over the fence. When two boys were added to the mixture, Pepper accepted them, too, and treated them as her charges. However, we made sure that the boys treated the dog with care and kindness, too.

A strange animal should never be left with a baby. An animal that hasn’t been trained to be around children should not be left with a child. Any adult who does not use common sense shouldn’t have a child or a pet.

Most of the problems that occur when animals and children are together are a result of carelessness on the part of adults. Common sense should tell an adult when a situation must be avoided. But sometimes common sense seems to go AWOL when adults have pets and children. Just because a dog or cat are well behaved around its owner and/or other adults does not mean it will automatically adjust to being around a baby or child.

Babies or children can be together and be “friends,” if both are prepared to be close. Supervision and training are musts for success.

When Pepper finally grew old and lame, requiring her to be put down, the whole family lost a friend.
